Brad Pitt Looks Sexy With Slicked Back Hair On Film Set Amid Custody Battle With Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt is back at the office amid his messy divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie. The actor, 57, arrived at a film set in Pasadena in sunny California on Thursday, Sept. 23 — and looked quite dapper with his hair slicked back. He wore a white button-up, grey dress pants, and black oxfords as he arrived for work.It is unclear which set Brad arrived at, but the Hollywood star could possibly be filming his upcoming period drama Babylon. Directed by La La Land’s Damien Chazelle, the film, set in the 1920s, will explore the film industry’s transition from silent movies to talkies. Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Jean Smart, and Olivia Wilde will also star in the film. Brad and his co-star’s were spotted filming the drama in nearby San Pedro earlier this month. The recent Brad sighting comes after he and Angelina resolved a dispute over Château Miraval, their shared $164 million winery in France, after an acrimonious back and forth. The actress will be able to sell her share of the estate after all, according to new documents shared on September 23. The decision came a few days after Brad filed a lawsuit that accused his ex-wife of trying to cut him out of a potential sale as she attempted to offload her shares.

Kenyan Film Board Bans Documentary ‘I Am Samuel’ About Gay Couple
The Kenyan Film Classification Board has done it again — and by “it,” we mean “banned a movie for depicting same-sex relationships in a positive way.”The film in question is “I Am Samuel,” a documentary from director Peter Murimi, in which “Samuel, a gay Kenyan man, balances duty to his family with his love for his partner, Alex, in a country where their love is criminalised,” according to the film’s logline. In a statement made public Thursday, the KFCB denounced the film as “a clear and deliberate attempt by the producer, to promote same-sex marriage as an acceptable way of life.” The board also complained that this is a violation of the country’s laws outlawing homosexuality. In addition, the board seems to have been particularly offended that the film attempted to show that Kenyans are becoming tolerant of sexual minorities. “I am Samuel,” the statement said, “tries to influence the viewer into believing that the older generation that was once against LGBTQ+ is slowly buying into the practice and accepting same sex marriage as a normal way of life.” Which, the KFCB says, is “an affront” to the Kenyan constitution “which recognizes the family as the basic unit of society.”

Is There a New ‘SNL’ Episode Airing This Week?
It’s September, and that means another season of “SNL” is upon us.The most recent new episode of “SNL,” the season 46 finale which aired on May 22, was hosted by “The Queen’s Gambit” star Anya Taylor-Joy, with Lil Nas X as the musical guest. The episode’s cold open was less a sketch and more of a comedy routine from the cast, which spent the opening segment cracking jokes about how insane the past year had been with the pandemic making a major impact on just about everything. There wasn’t much in the way of celebrity cameos in the 2021 portion of season 46, and, for now, cast member Alex Moffat will continue to play Joe Biden. He played the role for a second time on April 3 in a sketch that also saw Martin Short make a surprise appearance as Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff.

Colbert Imagines Even Worse Florida Officials Than Antivax Surgeon General (Video)
Wednesday’s “The Late Show” kicked off with a gag mocking Florida’s truly disastrous new Surgeon General, using extremely cringe viral videos from recent years to imagine other possible dangerous public officials. So in case you are unfamiliar with this impossible-to-believe news, Florida’s right wing Governor Ron DeSantis doubled down, again, on his apparently pro-COVID-19 policies. DeSantis has of course previously elevated nonsense conspiracy theories about vaccines and COVID and taken steps to literally forbid local governments, schools and even private businesses from trying to keep people alive. But this week, he appointed a new Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, an opponent of masks who, despite having a medical degree, spreads utter falsehoods about vaccines and COVID-19. To repeat, Florida’s surgeon general, the official entrusted with public health outcomes, is a man who supports policies that will with absolute certainty kill thousands of Floridians.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Book Details Patrick Dempsey & Isaiah Washington’s ‘Physical Fight’ On Set
Lynette Rice’s new book, How to Save a Life: The Inside Story of Grey’s Anatomy, sheds a brighter light on the events that led to Isaiah Washington‘s controversial exit from Grey’s Anatomy in 2007. Isaiah, who played Dr. Preston Burke on the ABC medical drama for the first three seasons, was fired after using a homophobic slur during a physical fight with Patrick Dempsey on set.Writer Mark Wilding recalls in the book, It was my episode. I think one of them had been late to set one day and the other one then decided to pay him back by being late himself. Then it sort of exploded. They got into an arguing match, and then before you know it they were physically fighting. I was standing there in video village. I’m, like, six feet four inches. I’m bigger than both of them. But I didn’t really jump in right away because I’m like, I don’t know if I want to get involved.”

‘The Auschwitz Report’ Film Review: Dark Drama Finds a New Side of the Holocaust to Explore
It sometimes feel as if the Holocaust and Nazi Germany are subjects that have been exhausted on screen, but filmmakers continue to return to those dark times: The past few months have already seen the festival premieres of two striking animated films, “Where Is Anne Frank” and “Charlotte,” and the recent Toronto Film Festival also brought Barry Levinson’s “The Survivor,” with Ben Foster as an Auschwitz inmate haunted by what he did to make it through the war.Slovakian director Peter Bebjak’s “The Auschwitz Report” had a slight head start on those other films, premiering in its home country in January and being chosen as the Slovak Oscar entry in last year’s race. Now receiving a U.S. release, the film is dark and grueling; it finds a new lens on the Holocaust and tells an unfamiliar story in a way that brings home both the unfathomable horror and the difficulty in getting people to grasp that horror.

After the second double eviction in as many weeks, Xavier became the head of household on Sunday night. Though he had a final two deal with Kyland, Xavier recognized him as a serious competitor and, figuring he had a better shot at winning next to Azah or Derek F., put Kyland on the block. On Wednesday, Xavier won the power of veto, giving him all power in the house. And when push came to shove, Xavier kept his nominations the same, convincing Big D to use his single vote to evict Kyland. Of course, considering Kyland had final two deals with both men, he was stunned — and he touched a nerve with Xavier on his way out.
