In plain English, Cramer lays it on the line. No-waffling, no on-the-one-hand-or-the-other hedging, just the straight stuff. He names names, highlights individual and sector plays, identifies the long-term investing themes—and explains how to develop the discipline you need to exploit them. About the Reviews

This book opened my eyes that money really does not come easy. The money you are investing is hard earned and should carefully be invested. You just don’t put in your money and instantly it grows. This book is highly recommended and I am definitely giving it a perfect score of 10. This book is a wise buy and very inspiring. Jim Cramer as he mentioned the CEO's he likes must be the person to talk about being rich. It entails study, hard work and making careful decisions. Reading is my passion and I really look forward to inspiring stories as clearly illustrated by the authors. For these are stories of people who has experienced the best and worst scenarios. This book is definitely on my top list. I have been an avid fan of Jim Cramer eversince. He gives not just beautiful insights but advices to people who might want to invest money especially in the stock market. Talking from his own experiences and from people "who have been there and have done that", this book is a must read one. I always look forward to the books of Jim Cramer. This book is very informative and truly inspiring. Jim Cramer never fails me. As if every page offers so much that you look forward to reading the next page.

I loved this book. Before reading this one, however, I would recommend Cramer's "Real Money" first. In Real Money, Cramer goes in depth into the nuts and bolts of evaluating a company and a stock. Once you have done your homework (i.e. followed the steps to evaluate the stock), then you are ready for the information in "Get Rich Carefully." In this book, Cramer identifies different conditions that might lead to fast rises in stock prices. There is a lot of great information here, along with many examples from the author's own experiences, good and bad. I found it a great read. Not all, but some parts were so captivating that I just couldn't put the book down.

*********************************

In this book, Jim Cramer--one of the smartest and best known investment gurus on the planet-offers a very readable and generally solid framework for investing, I watch Cramer regularly on CNBC and consider myself a fan with the caveat that followers need to be careful on his specific stock recommendation since he, like most other professional investment journalists, can turn cold on a recommendation in the blink of an eye. Also, while his picks are sincere, sometimes they can be quite wrong--as even he readily admits.

Having said that, I wholeheartedly agree with the investment framework he provides in this book. It offers solid information and an excellent strategy for developing and managing a personal portfolio. I would recommend it for both novice and seasoned investors.
