Dr. Colbert's Keto Zone Diet is easy to read and easy to apply. In a nutshell, the diet is high in fat, low in carbohydrates, and moderate in protein. Here is what I especially like about this book:
Dr. Colbert explains the Keto Zone Diet in an easy to understand way, without going into too many details. He lists Keto Zone Diet friendly foods at the end of the book and even provides a basic starter shopping list. The listed food is budget friendly and easy to obtain. You will also find general meal suggestions instead of complicated recipes that never get used. Dr. Colbert made me aware of the problematic IF fats which are used in many processed foods.
Personally, I have been on a ketogenic diet for 3 months now and I have lost 20 pounds so far. My meals are satisfying and I do not get hungry between meals. My weight loss is slowing down and I will use Dr. Colberts meal suggestions and tips to fine tune my diet for continuous weight loss until I have reached my goal weight and for long term weight maintenance. For me the diet works and Dr. Colbert's book makes following it a breeze.

A wealth of information! I lost 15 pounds in my first month! The best part is I feel great and have energy. My moods have really improved. While reading book started making menus in book and lost 7 lbs in 6 days followed that up with urine test strips to verify I was in the keto zone thank you dieted my whole life this is best never hungry and weight drops daily. Can't wait to do blood colesteral test in few months
