Liz Phair is back in a big way. The trailblazing '90s singer-songwriter first captured hearts within a male-dominated indie rock scene. Exile In Guyville, Phair's seminal 1993 debut was recorded with Brad Wood, who would go on to record her follow-up albums, 1994's Whip Smart and 1998's whitechocolatespaceegg.

Today, Phair releases "Good Side," a song from her upcoming album, set to be released in 2020. It's Phair's first track since July 2010, when she released her sixth album, Funstyle. For her new album, Phair reunited with Wood, who produced what's to come — a nostalgic take on their previous work. According to an interview for Stereogum, "'Good Side' captures the optimism and acceptance [Phair] feels even in the face of disappointments."
