Not Guilty Verdict for Reporter Arrested at Protest

A reporter who was arrested during the racial justice protests last year has been acquitted of the charges against her. Andrea Sahouri is a reporter for the Des Moines Register in Iowa. She testified in her own defense, saying she was arrested while covering the protests that erupted in her city after the killing of George Floyd. The arresting officer reportedly testified that when he tried to arrest Sahouri, she tugged her arm away. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
