Go ahead and check off “not here for the right reasons” on your "Bachelorette" season bingo card.

After last week's season premiere set up some tension between Aaron, a 26-year-old insurance agent, and Cody, a 27-year-old zipper salesman, Monday's episode gives viewers a better understanding of why the two men have beef. Spoiler alert: They know each other from back home in San Diego and each think the other has questionable morals.

A mud-wrestling group date features John, Andrew S., Kyle, Josh, Aaron, Brendan, Hunter, and Cody. Surprise! Aaron and Cody are paired up to wrestle each other.

After a figuratively and literally messy battle, Aaron walks away victorious, which means he gets to spend some solo time with Katie. He uses that time to explain that he knows Cody and is concerned he may be on the show just to become famous.
