At least two people have died and two others injured in a workplace shooting at the Mueller Co. facility in Albertville, Alabama, on Tuesday morning.

The fatal shooting occurred at around 2:30 a.m. at the Mueller facility located at 956 Industrial Boulevard.

Officers were called to the facility after an employee began firing weapons at colleagues, fatally shooting two and injuring two others. Officers told WBRC that the Albertville Police Department is not yet sure of the motivation behind the attack.

The department said that the gunman fled the scene in a vehicle, as it confirmed he is yet to be apprehended. Officers are analyzing the scene and gathering information about the identity and the possible location of the shooter.
