Don't forget to look up tonight and witness the biggest and brightest super moon of 2019. The moon, also called the Super Snow Moon will illuminate tonight's sky as the moon is both full and at its closest distance to Earth.

The super moon tonight is the second of three super moons this winter and will be the brightest of the trio. Of course, a cloudy sky will dampen the impact of the bright moon but if it is clear or at least partially clear you can experience the full illumination.

So when is the super moon? The technical full moon occurs at 10:53 a.m. EST, which unfortunately is not a great time of the day to see the moon. Hence, the peak time to see the super moon isn't at the exact moment the moon is at its fullest.
