Move over Ken Jennings, there is a new Jeopardy wonder contestant in town. And while Jennings remains the winningest participant in the game show's history, that title could find a new owner

James Holzhauer, a 34-year-old professional gambler from Las Vegas, Nevada broke the single-game winnings record Wednesday evening with a daily total of $131,127. This broke the previous daily winnings record, which he also set last week, by more than $20,000 and Holzhauer now holds the top four positions for most won in a single-game.

The most recent Jeopardy super-contestant, Ken Jennings, amassed an astonishing $2,520,700 over his 74-game winning streak. With just ten games under his belt, Holzhauer has already won a combined $697,787 thanks to his gutsy risks and all-or-nothing approach, making him a fan favorite in the process.
